This painting is the result of a lovely day spent with an artist friend on the river's edge of her parents garden in Niagara.  Plein air painting is always a challenge for me - the hot sun, the bugs, the drying paint . . . but all of this was offset by the company.  My friend's father called us in for lunch with a glass of prosecco.  What a wonderful memory.
