Grapevine

This piece was inspired by a day spent painting at The Good Earth Winery in Beamsville.  When I first painted it, it was moody and uninspired, so I decided that today - day #8 of my challenge - would be the day to wake it up!  More layers of paint have been added and although everything was in shadow that day, the sky now peeks through.  I like this painting because it will always remind me of a beautiful day spent in the country with a wonderful artist friend, a glass of wine and some great company.  Acrylic on wrapped canvas.  11x14.  1 1/4" depth and ready to hang.  $175.  SOLD
