Miraculous Meringue

A visit to The Watering Can in Vineland inspired this painting of one of the pastries they had on display in the pastry and coffee shop that is attached to the garden centre.  It is a must stop for anyone visiting Niagara.  My biggest challenge was being left in my studio - alone - with such a pretty dessert.  I picked up a little caramel cake while I was there as well- stay tuned!
Miraculous meringue.  Acrylic on 6x6 gallery wrapped canvas.  $75.

      Thanks! My kids and I goggled it up after the painting was finished! Not just painters make works of art everyday - in person, this was almost too pretty to eat.
