Black Mission Figs

Black Mission Figs.  Acrylic on wrapped canvas.  8x10.  $125. includes shipping for month of September.  This is painting #15 for September and my personal goal is to complete another 15 by the end of October.  I have been in a real purple haze this past month and I can't seem to get enough!  I love the contrast of purple with lime green and the way the light bounces off a mustard yellow when it's dabbed on top.  I'm hoping to play with these figs a little longer - maybe slice a few and see what happens!  And if they last long enough they'll end up with some goat cheese on a piece of baguette!  Yum!

    1. Thank you! I know what you mean . . . I'm trying to hold off eating them until I can paint a few more after I slice them in half but all I can think of is putting them on a baguette! LOL!
