New Crayons

This is the 6th painting I have managed to complete since the 30 paintings in 30 days challenge began.  September has been a really busy month so far and I haven't had much of a chance to paint.  Today, however, I ventured out to the art supply store with an artist friend and was determined to pick up some inspiring colours - colours that I don't normally have in my paint box.  By the time I got home, I ripped open my new canvases and ran into my little studio.  I was so excited to start.  The first brushstroke literally left me in giggles as the colours exploded on the canvas.  This is the result.  I felt like it was my first day in my kindergarten class with a new box of crayons.
