Every time I head back to my hometown I am inspired by the country scenery and open sky. Sometimes it's just a little thing like seeing strands of golden rod or an acre of wild mustard that inspires me to capture the memory of it. I find it so peaceful to sit in my little paint studio and build a simple painting on a memory. This one marks my 9th painting of the 30 paintings in 30 days challenge. The title is Wild Mustard. It has been painted with acrylic on a 12x16 wrapped canvas. Priced at $165. shipping is included for the month of September.
So beautiful Barbara! Luscious clouds! I love the yellow green against the blue. Just sitting here staring :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Sheila! Truly reminds me of some of the countryside on the drive home 3 hours away. So happy that you like it!
