Rosseau's October

A perfect Fall getaway took us up to Muskoka this past weekend.  My mind is whirling with all of the shades of orange, rust, ochre, red and green.  Set against the backdrop of the Muskoka lakes, it truly is breathtaking.  We stayed at a resort on Lake Rosseau and the view from our room was spectacular.  I'm so glad that I brought some art supplies.  I sat out on our balcony and painted in the crisp Autumn breeze, my finger tips freezing and stiff and my nose cold to the touch as my soul loved every second of it.  Yesterday I was even visited by a seagull who was curious as to what treasures I had balancing on the white Muskoka chairs!  I caught him just in time before he flew away with some of my brushes!
