This painting is inspired from a view in a photo I took years ago in Duntroon, Ontario.  I had clients at the time who owned a breathtakingly beautiful property here and this was their view from every window of their home.  They were lovely, lovely people and it was my pleasure to work with them and get to know them.  In the distance is my hometown, Collingwood.  If you look closely enough, you can see the grain elevators on the waters edge - a landmark for the town.
