Reflection Pond

This painting marks the third day of thirty in the painting challenge this month.  The title of this painting is Reflection Pond.  It has been painted with acrylic on a canvas panel and measures 7x9.  Shipping is included in the $100. for the month of September.  This month I have been really making an attempt to loosen my brush strokes.  Sometimes as a critic of my own work I feel like my paintings sometimes get a little too 'sweet', if that makes sense!  And I crave more emotion to let loose.  So I challenge myself to try different things like only using one brush to complete a painting.  And over the past few days doing a rough sketch with oil pastel before painting over it with acrylic and just letting the creative process take over.  The results make me happy!
