Day 22 has turned into a bit of a cheater for me.  I haven't cleaned my house since Christmas - my husband is away on business - and I'm out of milk, bread and apples for tomorrow's lunches!  These two paintings are posted on my art page.  The first is a pear painted in my studio.  The second is a painting from a plein air day at The Good Earth.  This painting is the perfect example of a happy accident.  It started as a detail of a willow tree - but I just couldn't capture it, so I turned around and right behind me was the sweetest little wisteria that was in full bloom.  The day was very gloomy - a hot, humid summer day just before it's going to storm - so the colours are murky.  I love this one - the happy accident.  This painting is now SOLD!  Thank you!
